Sanders over Trump. Any... fucking... day.
Sanders at least seems principled and passionate about what he wants for the US. Plus America taking a step to becoming MORE socialist is far from a bad thing. Yeah, the right are probably going to block the hell out of his plans, like the screaming children they are, but they did that to Obama and he managed to get Obamacare through. And Obama is arguably way more right wing than Bernie. Baby steps aren't a bad thing, and the US needs someone like Bernie to increase their stride. Plus, being concerned about the rights of LGBT people and minorities does not make you an SJW. It makes you concerned about people's rights in general.
Trump on the other hand?
He wants to build a fucking wall. How many republican idiots have suggested that? Why do I feel like the west would rather just isolate themselves and let the rest of the world burn? It's like you're letting your fear get in the way of goddamn human decency, which I was under the impression, was more or less part of the idea of terrorism. To make an entire country collectively shit itself and engage in irrational decisions. And most of Trump's supporter base seem to still be walking around with full underpants.
I do however, agree that Trump would be likely to shake things up, which is something the US system needs. But would he shake it up in the right way? He definitely comes off as the most likeable of the republican candidates. But then that isn't hard when you're up against Ted Cruz; the man with the world's most punchable face.
Well, this turned out to be longer than I expected.
